Privacy Policy
CalcSprint is designed to be lightweight and privacy-conscious. This policy covers the CalcSprint service as a whole, including the main website, localized pages, blog content, the browser extension, and the mobile app.
CalcSprint is built to work without accounts, sign-ups, or server-side user profiles. The exact data handled depends on which part of the product you use, so this page explains the differences clearly.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to CalcSprint as a digital service, including gameplay on calcsprint.com, localized versions of the site, the blog, the browser extension, and the mobile application.
Different parts of the service handle different amounts of information. The website and blog use limited analytics and standard technical request processing, while the browser extension and mobile app are designed to stay lightweight and avoid collecting personal data directly.
Website and browser storage
The CalcSprint website stores a small set of interface preferences in your browser so the experience feels consistent between visits.
- theme preference
- contrast mode
- text size
- dyslexia-friendly mode
- language preference
If you use the CalcSprint browser extension, the extension may also store local gameplay data on your device, such as selected difficulty, high scores, streaks, and lifetime session totals. That extension data is saved in browser storage on your device and is not currently sent to a CalcSprint backend.
Website analytics and technical request data
The public website and blog use Ahrefs Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page usage. That service may process technical information such as page views, referrers, browser or device information, and IP-related request data in order to provide traffic reporting and performance insights.
Like most web services, CalcSprint may also process standard server-side request data through hosting or content delivery infrastructure when you load pages or assets. This information is used to deliver the service, maintain stability, and understand overall usage patterns.
Mobile app data collection
The CalcSprint mobile app does not collect, store, or process personal data from users inside the app itself.
- No account is required
- No personal information is requested
- No in-app user tracking is performed by CalcSprint
You can use the app without providing personal data to CalcSprint. However, certain information may be collected automatically by the platform provider, such as Apple or Google, when you download or use the app. This may include device type, operating system, and app usage statistics collected under the platform provider's own privacy terms.
For platform details, see Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy. CalcSprint does not have direct access to platform-level analytics that Apple or Google may collect on their own.
What CalcSprint does not currently require
- No account creation
- No password storage
- No checkout or payment processing
- No public user profiles or leaderboards
Third-party services
CalcSprint does not use advertising networks or sell user data.
On the website, CalcSprint uses Ahrefs Analytics for aggregate traffic insights and may rely on infrastructure providers such as hosting and content delivery services to deliver pages and assets.
On mobile, distribution platforms such as Apple may collect their own technical or usage information under their own policies. That data is controlled by the platform provider, not by CalcSprint.
How information is used
Any locally stored preferences are used only to remember your settings on your own device. Local extension gameplay data is used to preserve your own progress and preferences on that device.
Aggregate website analytics and technical request data are used to understand service usage, improve content, monitor reliability, and refine the experience across the website, blog, and extension landing pages.
Data sharing and retention
CalcSprint does not share personal data with third parties for advertising or profiling because CalcSprint does not maintain user accounts or personal profiles.
Locally stored settings and extension progress remain on your device unless you clear your browser or extension storage. Since the mobile app does not collect personal data directly, CalcSprint does not retain personal app data on its own servers.
Children's privacy
CalcSprint does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The service is designed to be usable without providing personal information.
Security and your choices
Because CalcSprint avoids accounts and server-side user profiles, the amount of personal information handled directly by the service is intentionally limited.
You can clear website storage or extension storage at any time through your browser settings. You can also stop using the service, avoid analytics by leaving the site, or uninstall the browser extension or mobile app whenever you want.
Updates to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if CalcSprint changes how the service works or introduces new product features. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
